Osahor Chukwuma, Covenant-Hero, Head Of Digital Partnerships (Partnerships & Digital Capabilities Group), Access Bank PLC

Chukwuma Osahor is a technology enhthusiast. He is currently the Head of Digital Partnerships at Access Bank Plc, Africa’s largest Bank by retail customers, and is responsible for positioning Access Bank as strategic technology partner, critical to profitability & business growth. As a technology leader, Chukwuma has also been part of the creation and deployment of revolutionary fintech payment solutions (EFT, Virtual Account Solutions, Card Routing Solutions) which have made significant impact for businesses within the payments industry. He is also a member of the Innovation Advisory Council of Access Bank Plc where he provides expertise and thought leadership to support the Bank’s innovation journey.

Tim Theuri, Executive Head – Cybersecurity, M-Pesa Africa

Tim Theuri is a Cybersecurity, Audit and Risk management professional with over fourteen years’ experience in the Fintech, telecommunication and Financial industries previously working for Safaricom and Deloitte in Cybersecurity, Technology, Risk management and Audit. He currently is the Executive Head of Cybersecurity at M-Pesa Africa where he is bootstrapping the unified Cybersecurity organization that will protect the M-Pesa Africa financial ecosystem.

Kumaran Selvarajalu, Senior General Manager Payments, Banking Association South Africa (BASA)

Kumaran Selvarajalu is the Senior General Manager Payments at Banking Association South Africa. He has a long history in banking, payments and leading complex stakeholder groups, having spent twenty years as the subject matter expert for FirstRand payments. During this period, he also sat in an independent capacity on the Council of the Payments Association of South Africa as Councillor and Deputy Chairman. Upon leaving the bank Kumaran briefly consulted with BankservAfrica Limited as the head of Digital Innovation and to BASA on the development of a payment’s capability. He sees payments, not as a siloed set of activities but as foundational to the economic system, societal transformation and as such, Kumaran currently leads payments at BASA and is part of the executive team.

Lavina Ramkissoon, Chair and Co-founder, Fintech Association South Africa

Dr. Danny Zandamela, Founder/CEO, BiD-Me

Danny is a banking professional with over 39 years’ experience across several countries and has been a bank CEO for over 20 years. He is the founder and CEO of an independent Open Banking FinTech called BiD-Me. He has extensive experience as both an executive and a non-executive board member, and as a shareholder representative at several banks across the African continent. Danny holds a DBA through Sheffield Hallam University, a DBA through Business School Netherlands and an MSc (Strategic Management) from University of Derby. His doctoral research was on open banking and FinTech.
